In the metaphysical world, labradorite is considered one of the most powerful protectors. The gemstone creates a shield for auras and protects against negativity of the world. Labradorite is said to temper the negativity within ourselves as well. Origins: Labradorite was first discovered in the late 1700's in Labrador, Canada. Since then, deposits have been noted in Finland, Russia, Australia, Mexico, United States and Madagascar.
Material: Labradorite is a feldspar mineral of the plagioclase series that is most often found in mafic igneous rocks such as basalt, gabbro, and norite. It is also found in anorthosite, an igneous rock in which labradorite can be the most abundant mineral.
Weight: 3g-6g (per stone)
Measurements (approx): 1 1/2 - 2 cm

- Color- Usually clear, white, or gray in reflected light. Labradorescent colors can include blue, green, yellow, orange, and red.

Cleaning:When cleaning labradorite, the best method is to use gentle soap and water with an untreated cloth. It is not recommended to use ultrasonic, steam or boiling methods to clean labradorite.
